Jaspal Singh Aujla brings 32+ years of experience in energy efficiency, renewable energy, solar power, engineering, project management and technical consultancy.
He began his professional career at SLIET, Longowal, where he served as Lecturer and Assistant Professor in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering for more than 14 years. He subsequently joined EESL, progressing through senior technical leadership positions and ultimately serving as Chief General Manager (Technical).
His professional experience includes large-scale energy-efficiency programmes, solar and LED lighting initiatives, energy audits and technical project management. He has been associated with programmes exceeding ₹2,000 crore, covering up to 12,000 buildings, more than 2 lakh solar-based LED lighting systems, and projects across 16 states.
He holds an M.Tech. (Gold Medal), MBA and Certified Energy Auditor qualification, with specialised professional training in Japan through JICA and in Germany. He is also a DGCA-Certified Commercial Drone Pilot and Trained Thermographer.
