Prof. Sunil Pandey; Ph.D. is a distinguished mechanical engineer, academic, researcher and welding & manufacturing consultant with over five decades of combined experience in teaching, research, industry and academic administration.
He holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, M.Tech. in Production Engineering and Ph.D. in Welding, all supported by a distinguished academic and professional career. He is presently a Distinguished Professor at LNMIIT Jaipur and is , IIT Delhi, and former Vice Chancellor / Director of SLIET. He has also served as Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Jawaharlal Nehru University.
His technical expertise spans welding and joining technology, manufacturing and production engineering, process engineering, industrial systems and technology development. LNMIIT also identifies Welding & Joining Technology, Production Engineering and Process Engineering among his research areas.
He has received several professional recognitions, including the Best Teacher Award from IIT Delhi, Distinguished Alumnus Award from NITK, and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Indian Welding Society for contributions to Welding Technology and Research.
